Proudly Serving Estrella Mountain · Lucero · Montecito · CantaMia & Greater Goodyear
Estrella Mountain is one of the largest master-planned communities in the West Valley, covering about 20,000 acres at the base of the Sierra Estrella mountains. Its villages include Mountain Ranch, CantaMia (a gated 55+ active adult community), Montecito, and Lucero, and it’s still growing. The community has two lakes, the Starpointe Residents’ Club, a golf course by Nicklaus Design, 50-plus parks, and more than 65 miles of trails. Estrella Mountain Regional Park, Maricopa County’s oldest regional park (1954), with more than 30 miles of trails, is nearby.
The Range of Flooring Across Estrella Mountain
Most Estrella Mountain homes have ceramic or porcelain tile in the main living areas and carpet in the bedrooms. When a home also has travertine, such as an outdoor patio, each surface gets its own pressure settings, cleaning solutions, and sealing products. A single home might need more than one approach in the same visit, and Robinson Renew adjusts based on what’s on the floor.

Tile & Grout Cleaning in Estrella
Robinson Renew uses a truck-mounted hot water extraction system and a spinner tool for tile and grout cleaning in Estrella. The process starts with pH-balanced pre-treatment on grout lines, followed by high-pressure extraction that pulls embedded soil from the pores.

Sealing Considerations in Estrella
Grout throughout the community benefits from a penetrating sealer after professional cleaning. For travertine, Robinson Renew uses a professional sealer made for natural stone. Each surface gets the right protection — there’s no one-size-fits-all approach.

Homes Near Open Desert
Some Estrella Mountain homes back onto open desert. Those homes can see more dust come in, especially during spring dust storms and monsoon season.
Lucero
Lucero is a 617-acre village in Estrella that opened in 2019, on hillside terrain with views of the Sierra Estrella. Its newer single- and two-story homes come from builders including Beazer, D.R. Horton, Pulte, Richmond American and Taylor Morrison. For brand-new grout, Stephan does a light prep cleaning to remove any contaminants, then seals it.
Montecito
Montecito is one of Estrella’s villages, and in 2025 Estrella broke ground on 508 more homesites there, built by Lennar and Richmond American. For brand-new homes, Robinson Renew offers post-construction cleaning, including grout haze removal, and grout sealing.
When to Clean
Tile and grout cleaning works well in fall, after monsoon season stirs up the desert floor, or in spring before the heat sets in. Window cleaning works well in early spring, clearing the winter dust that’s been layering on glass since October.
What to Expect During Your Estrella Mountain Visit
Because Estrella homes can have different tile types in different rooms, Stephan walks the entire floor plan before starting. He’ll identify what’s on each surface — porcelain, ceramic, travertine on the patio — explain how each will be cleaned, and confirm the plan and price. Most tile and grout cleaning jobs take 2 to 4 hours depending on area size and soil level; carpet, windows, and grout sealing add time.
Is Your Estrella Mountain Floor Telling You Something?
Dark grout near doorways but lighter under furniture? That’s foot-traffic dust, not permanent staining. Professional extraction pulls out the embedded soil.
Grout darker on the desert-facing side of the house? Open desert exposure means more dust comes in on that side. Professional cleaning pulls out the embedded dust.
Patio tile rougher and duller than interior tile? Outdoor tile collects dust and debris that indoor floors don’t. Professional cleaning lifts the buildup.
Carpet feels gritty even after vacuuming? Arizona’s abrasive desert dust has settled deep in the carpet. Professional hot water extraction reaches what vacuuming can’t.
A Typical Estrella Mountain Job
Most Estrella Mountain homes, from Mountain Ranch to the newer homes in Lucero and Montecito, have ceramic or porcelain tile in the main living areas and carpet in the bedrooms. A typical visit is tile and grout cleaning and sealing, carpet in the bedrooms, and sometimes an outdoor tile or travertine patio. Stephan walks the home first and confirms the plan and price before starting.
